After 10 years of competing in the sport of powerlifting at the state and national level, reaching Collegiate first team All-American status, I suffered severe back pain, and was only 24 years old. I was told I had disc problems and would need to stop competing. I found a chiropractor in Baltimore, Maryland and began care with fantastic results. As my body healed, I continued my PL career, and decided I wanted to help others receive health naturally through chiropractic care.
I was able to continue my PL career, but still had occasional pain, as well as digestive issues, stomach pain, and skin problems. While in school, I came across an amazing chiropractic procedure called Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic. After experiencing this type of care, my health went to the next level, and my symptoms completely resolved over the next 3 years. By now I was 30 years old, extremely healthy, and looking to share my Upper Cervical chiropractic health knowledge with all.
Dr. Anderson did his undergraduate studies at Towson State University in Baltimore Maryland and graduated with a degree in Marketing and Sports Management. My Health Habits
Dr. Anderson exercises with Insanity videos, runs, bikes, swims, and participates in races like the Tough Mudder, and training for his first sprint triathlon in 2014. He takes seriously, and strives for consistent nutritional excellence because he understands the importance of excellent nutrition to achieve great health. He also has his spine checked regularly by his brother, Dr. Patrick Anderson, approximately every two weeks. He usually goes months and sometimes even years without requiring an adjustment, which can be achieved, following proper spinal care. He and his family have achieved a healthy lifestyle without the use of pharmaceuticals, including vaccines, and he has been drug-free since 1993. He thanks God for the health his family enjoys, knowing that God gave us natural ways to live a healthy life, and our bodies do not usually need external drugs, but need no interference, to their God given potential to work properly.
At Georgia Integrated Health Center, we believe that every symptom is a signal from the body that points toward an underlying, and often hidden, health issue. Our medical professionals have years of training and experience, and we know how to read these signals. Our care focuses on preventing and treating health problems to help you regain proper functioning.
Discover One of The First Steps Many Patients Have Taken To Beat The Odds.
To manage their condition, chronically ill patients typically follow an expensive, time-consuming regimen of drugs and hormone replacement therapy. However these treatments may not be the best course for chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes and hypothyroidism . Patients can spend the rest of their lives fighting both the disease and the side effects of medication. Many get worse over time, not better, and find themselves trapped in a vicious cycle.
We take a different approach to patients suffering from chronic illness. Our clinical model is most commonly called Functional Medicine or Functional Endocrinology. We refer to it simply as a Functional Health Model.
A Functional Health Model uses expansive testing, pathological and functional analysis of lab results to arrive at a comprehensive understanding of your unique condition. In our clinic it is not enough to label someone with Type 2 Diabetes or hypothyroidism as this is often quite superficial and incomplete.
It is important to understand that patients who share the same “label” of a disease (ie. Type 2 Diabetes) often have different causes for that disease despite the perceived similarity. The different causes for disease of course call for customized care for each individual. This customization of care for each individual is often the difference between getting worse over time and getting better.
